HALTOM CITY (WBAP/KLIF) – Haltom City police are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting that left a juvenile dead and now two teenage boys in custody.
Haltom City Police Detective Matthew Spillane says the victim and suspects were from nearby Richland Hills.
“Richland Hills Police Department has had contact with some of these juveniles in the past,” Spillane said. “Following up on those leads we were able to generate a pretty good idea of where these suspects were located.”
Due to their ages, 15 and 16, no identification has been made.
Spillane says several witnesses are talking but they would like more to come forward.
The two suspects are jailed on murder charges.
