Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Homes sales are up across the metroplex as the 2019 winds down after slowing down earlier this year … but with the increased sales comes higher prices, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Stats from MetroTex Association of Realtors shows prices for single-family homes sold by real estate agents were 6% higher last month the same time last year.
In Dallas and Kaufman counties prices were up over 10%.
Meantime, economists say the increase in home sales was likely triggered by lower mortgage rates.
