New York City (WBAP/KLIF) – Wall Street’s famous charging bull statue has been vandalized by a man from Dallas. According to eyewitnesses 42 year old Tevon Varlack was muttering profanities when he repeatedly slammed some sort of heavy weapon or tool against the head of the three and a half ton bronze sculpture in Manhattan’s financial district. He damaged at least one of the charging bull’s horns, and now faces charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and criminal possession of a weapon. That statue has been a feature of New York’s Wall Street since it was created by artist Arturo di Modica in 1989.
