A probation violation warrant has been filed against former Cowboy Josh Brent

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Former Dallas Cowboys lineman Josh Brent is now facing a probation violation warrant in addition to charges of assaulting a public servant, and resisting arrest. Brent was arrested last Sunday in a Wendy’s parking lot fracas with Coppell Police that was recorded by restaurant patrons, and distributed on social media. He is serving ten years probation for the drunk driving death of teammate, Jerry Brown Jr. in 2012. A probation violation warrant is often the first legal step in the revocation of probation.
