Troopers need help finding a hit and run driver

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas state troopers are asking the public to help them find a hit and run driver who killed a man on I-45 between the towns of Ferris and Palmer about three weeks ago. Bret Rendleman was walking on the shoulder of the road June 10 when he was run down by a maroon 1999 Mustang. The driver of the car did not stop. The Department of Public Safety says pieces of the Mustang were scattered all over the road, so it would like to hear about maroon Mustangs with missing radio antennas, chunks torn out of their front bumpers, missing 35th anniversary Ford Mustang badge identifiers, and headlights and side mirrors torn off the passenger side.
