Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The man who was the voice behind Big Tex at the Texas State Fair for more than a decade has died. Bill Bragg died Saturday at age 72. He was the State’s Fair’s booming, official welcoming voice from 2002 to 2013. In addition to his Big Tex work Bill Bragg was a behind-the-scenes north Texas broadcaster for decades, and was the founder of the Yesterday USA Radio Network that broadcasts old radio shows.
