The Colony (WBAP/KLIF) – A contractor in The Colony has been is going to prison for bilking elderly Tarrant County residents out of tens of thousands of dollars. Chad Capiello was sentenced Friday to 47 years in prison. He will begin serving that sentence when he finishes the prison sentence he’s currently serving for similar crimes in Hopkins County. Working under the business name “Extreme Remodeling” Capiello swindled at least half a dozen elderly Tarrant County residents who put at least half down on remodeling projects he never began. Capiello faces similar charges in Bell and Jasper Counties.
