Corpus christi (wbap/klif) – A Corpus Christi woman is going to prison for selling her 7 year old son, and trying to sell two of her daughters. Esmeralda Garza was convicted on at least five felony counts. She admitted selling her son for $2,500, and trying to sell her two year old and three year old daughters. Garza told the officers who arrested her she was selling her children to pay off her drug debts. She’ll spend the next six years in prison. Her children are in the custody of Child Protective Services, and are being housed at an undisclosed location.
