Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – The latest nationwide survey of relocation trends puts Texas number two on the list of popular moves. More people moved to this state last year than to any other state except Florida. An Austin based real estate trade association says more than half a million new residents moved to Texas, about half of them moved to DFW. Most of those new residents moved here from California. Interestingly the numbers also show most new Texas residents came from the country’s three largest cities: New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
