Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A public vigil for a former North Crowley High School track star killed in a car crash Thursday will be held tonight.
18-year old Erica Crowley of Fort Worth was died when the car she was riding lost control in icy conditions on I-35 near Oklahoma City and was hit by a semi.
She was a freshman on a track scholarship at Rogers State University in Oklahoma. On the RSU website, the school mourned her loss. It states that she had competed in her first collegiate event in December, breaking the freshman record for the 60 meter, at 7.88 seconds.

The vigil will be held at the Chisholm Trail Community Center at 6:30.
Another passenger died in the crash, he was identified as 24-year old Daniel Ellison of Burleson. Two other passengers, both from Fort Worth were hospitalized for their injuries. The driver of the car, from Irving was not injured.
