Denton Police Arrest 9 People in Major Drug Bust

DENTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Denton Police arrested 9 people for selling crack cocaine, meth, marijuana, and K2. Bryan Cose with the Denton Police department says this was a months-long investigation. He says a lot of work goes into an operation of this magnitude.

“It feels really good to know we were able to put a number of people behind bars for selling drugs within our community but also we were able to  get a lot of drugs off the street,” Cose said. All suspects were transported to the City of Denton jail.

• Charitta Tyler – Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance PG 1: Over 4g Under 200g

• Rebecca Williams – Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1: Under 1 Gram

• Jamain Williamson – Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance PG 1: Over 4g Under 200g; Possession of Firearm by Felon
