Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texas appeals court has upheld the conviction of a man who kidnapped a Fort Worth woman from the Shops at Legacy in Plano four years ago.
Christina Morris went missing and her disappearance gained national attention — her remains were found in Anna in March.
The Dallas Morning News reports, the Fifth District Court of Appeals ruled this week that there was enough evidence for Enrique Enrochi to be convicted.
His lawyers originally appealed, saying the evidence was weak and that the trial should not have been in Collin County.
Arochi is serving a life-sentence, and has not been charged for murder even though Morris’ remains were found.
