DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The controversial First Baptist Church in Dallas performed at the “Celebrate Freedom Rally” at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. last Saturday and they sang a song based off of President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.
The choir’s performance of “Make America Great Again” was met with cheers and applause.
On Sunday, President Trump tweeted a video montage with the song playing in the background.
The church is led by Robert Jeffress, who has been been outspoken about his views against the LGBT community, Muslims and Jews.
President Trump relationship with Jeffress has earned him criticism from several groups because of Jeffress’ views.
