Federal Judge Orders Federal Probationary Worker Reinstatement

SAN FRANSISCO – (WBAP/KLIF) – A federal judge orders the Trump White House to reinstate probationary workers in six agencies affected by mass firings. The Trump administration is likely to file an appeal against the ruling by U.S. District Judge William Alsup. The order came during a federal court hearing concerning a lawsuit from labor groups challenging the mass firings directed by the Office of Personnel Management.

Plaintiffs assert the firings violates requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act and congressional laws concerning agency hiring and firing practices.
