Nemian Marcus’ Parent Company Have Confirmed Their Decision To Close The Downtown Dallas Location

(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – On Tuesday, Officials with Newman Marcus’ parent company Saks Global confirmed that their decision to close the flagship store in downtown Dallas is final. Earlier this week, Dallas City Manager Kimberly Tolbert stated that city officials acquired the deed to the piece of land under the store owned by Slaughter Partners after reaching an agreement with them to donate the land to the city for the continued operation of the flagship Neiman Marcus store.

While city leaders planned a meeting with executives from Saks Global, officials with the company denied that a meeting was confirmed, and stated that they made several unsuccessful attempts to be connected directly to the city manager. The downtown location closes on March 31st.
