UPDATE 7:05 a.m.: The City of Grand Prairie informed residents in need of bottled water about a new pickup spot Wednesday morning.
The new location is at Lone Star Park, 1000 Lone Star Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
Water will be available until supplies last.
GRAND PRARIE (WBAP/KLIF) – Grand Prairie residents north of I-20 are being asked to avoid using water until further notice.
The City of Grand Prairie has detected a foaming agent in the water supply north of I-20. Crews are currently investigating the issue and working to isolate the affected area.
Out of an abundance of caution, Grand Prairie ISD will be closed Wednesday due to the ongoing water issue in the city. All morning extracurricular activities are canceled as well.
Anyone who lives north of I-20 in Grand Prairie, is asked avoid using water other than for flushing until further notice.
Bottled water is available in the front parking lot of Grand Prairie City Hall.
