(WBAP/KLIF) – FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth based American Airlines has reached a tentative deal with its flight attendants. Details of the negotiations weren’t released, but last month the company’s CEO proposed a 17% wage increase. The union’s board of directors and executive committee will need to sign off on the deal before members can vote to ratify it. The union representing 28,000 flight attendants has been in negotiations with the airline on a new contract since 2019.
