MIDLOTHIAN (WBAP/KLIF News ) – An overnight police chase that started in Dalworthington Gardens near Arlington ended with a crash a shootout involving officers in Midlothian.
The situation started when officers were attempting to serve a warrant.
The chase came to a height around 3 a.m. Friday at an apartment complex near Highway 67 and Henderson Street. The suspect reportedly hit a squad car.
Midlothian police said after the crash, the suspect fired his weapon at officers before officers shot back.
The suspect was hit and is hospitalized in critical condition. There are no reports of any officers getting injured.
