The Marsh Lane Plaza Rebuild Brings New Choices To Northwest Dallas

DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – In October 2019 an Ef-3 tornado touched down near Dallas Love Field and tore through North Dallas causing well over a billion dollars worth of damage. It was the most expensive tornado in the states history.

One of the many areas badly damaged was the Marsh Lane Plaza shopping center located on the Northwest corner of Walnut Hill and Marsh.

The center was demolished and a large portion of the rebuild is now finished with several businesses scheduled to open in the coming weeks. Among the new businesses are a Jake’s restaurant, a luxury nail salon, a dentist and a doughnut shop.

Rankin Grote with Hopkins Commercial Real Estate, says the new businesses with give the area upscale choices and will be a family friendly environment where you can grab a burger and have your nails done. Grote says several of the businesses will be opening in the next few weeks, and the final stage of the property rebuild is expected to be finished by the end of this year.

Additional tenants slated for the new Marsh Lane Plaza include Texas Health Resources, a coffee shop, an ice cream store and a barber shop among others.
