Dallas City Leaders Are Postponing Changes to the City Charter

(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – Last week, Dallas City Council members tabled two major votes including one which would decriminalize small amounts of marijuana. However, supporters gathered 50,000 signatures which may be enough to put it on the ballot.

The City Council also sent a proposal back to committee that would ban horse drawn carriages. Activists are concerned about the health and safety of horses, but others are asking whether an outright ban is even necessary since it would affect only one permitted business.
