ESPN- (WBAP/KLIF) – Allen died suddenly at the age of 52, family members say, during a vacation with them to Mexico. Named to the Pro Bowl eleven times; inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013, Allen played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1994 through 2005 and won a Super Bowl in 1995.
His last two seasons were in service of the San Fransisco 49ers.

Allen was considered “one of the most respected accomplished linemen to play in the National Football League”, considered demonstrative and inspirational “displaying what it meant to be a great teammate, competitor and winner.”
