FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – One person has died and three others have been injured in a wrong way crash involving an 18-wheeler and another car early Thursday morning.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on I-30 east in Fort Worth near Alta Mere Drive and Highway 183.
Traffic is being diverted to Highway 183 as crews work to clear the scene.
Unfortunately, this accident was the second of two wrong-way crashes overnight.
Fort Worth Police said the first crash happened around 12:40 a.m. along Texas 114 near Farm Road 156 near Northwest High School.
One of the cars was headed in the wrong direction on 114 and crashed head on into another vehicle.
The driver of the car going the wrong way died at the scene. The other driver was treated at the scene and released.
Investigators are looking into the cause of both crashes.
