(WBAP/KLIF) – ARLINGTON – The Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys today 48 to 32, effectively ending the 2023-2024 season.
Green Bay took the lead when running back Aaron Jones scored the first two touchdowns of the game. After catching a 20 yard pass, Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks scored a touchdown. A 64 yard interception led to the Packers scoring a fourth touchdown putting Green Bay in the lead 27 to 0.
Towards the end of the second quarter Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson scored the teams first touchdown bringing the score to 27 to 7 at the end of the first half.
In the third quarter the Cowboys tried to make a comeback. Brandon Aubrey, kicked a 34 yard field goal, and Dallas running back Tony Pollard scored a touchdown. However the Packers maintained their lead with running back Aaron Jones, and tight end Luke Musgrave scoring touchdowns.
The fourth quarter kicked off with packers wide receiver Romeo Dobbs scoring a touchdown. The Cowboys then made a slight comeback when tight end Jake Ferguson end scored two consecutive touchdowns at the end of the game.
