DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – The lead architect in the design for Cotton Bowl renovations expects fans will enjoy the upgraded facility so much, the Cotton Bowl could become a world leading destination event center. Bryan Trubey of Overland Partners designed upgrades to the Cotton Bowl with a budget of $140 million dollars.
Trubey says major world events such as soccer require more premier seating, more food and drink offerings, and better crowd flow throughout the facility. Trubey says world recognition of the Cotton Bowl will come through it’s unique location; housed inside Fair Park and in a metro area almost unmatched for a large population that will draw it’s own crowds in years ahead. Renovations should be completed in about two years time.
