Little Elm Police Searching for Suspects in Deadly Shooting at Weekend House Party

LITTLE ELM (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Little Elm Police Department has released surveillance video of five people who may have information about a shooting at a house party over the weekend the claimed the life of a Frisco ISD varsity basketball player.

17-year-old Keith Slaughter was one of three people who were shot at a home on Sunlight Drive just north of El Dorado Parkway Saturday night.

Keith was a senior at Lebanon Trail High School and has just started touring colleges. His older brother Kemarian told our media partner WFAA TV the loss is unbearable.

“He was always there for me…you know. Every time I was going through something dark he’ was there’s be there and try to guide me back to where I was supposed to be . All throughout college I was trying to be that role model for him all this time he was the role model for me,” he said.

As the family struggles to come to grips with how and why their loved one was killed, police are hoping to find the people in the surveillance video to get more information about what happened.

The first video shows three individuals leaving the area of the shooting immediately after the incident took place.

A second video shows three people running to a dark-colored car after the shots were fired. A female victim is hospitalized in critical condition and a third victim was found two streets away from the crime scene.
