ARLINGTON – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Houston Astros defeated the Rangers today 5 to 4 in game five of the ALCS.
The game kicked off with the Astros in the lead when they scored a run in the first inning. The Rangers then tied the Astros by scoring a run in fifth inning. In the top of the sixth inning the Astros scored a run putting them in the lead once again. However, Houston didn’t stay in the lead for long after Texas scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth putting the rangers in the lead.
In the ninth inning the Astros made a comeback by scoring three runs. After the Rangers failed to score in the bottom of the ninth, the Astros won the game 5-4. Currently the Astros are leading the series 3-2. The Rangers will now travel to Houston for game six this Sunday night.
