Severe Weather Possible in North Texas

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Isolated showers and thunderstorms may be possible across North and Central Texas through Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS Fort Worth said Sunday that a subtle warming trend is expected mid to late week with highs around 5 to 10 degrees above normal by Friday.

Scattered storms will continue to develop south of the cold front through mid morning Monday, according to NWS. A few strong to marginally severe storms will remain possible across Central Texas. The main threats are expected to be isolated hail, strong wind gusts, and locally heavy rainfall.
