Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – What started as a minor crash shortly after 9 last night on I-35W northbound at Berry Street in Fort Worth snowballed into major triple fatality accident involving five vehicles
Officer Daniel Segura with Fort Worth PD says the driver of a large truck had stopped to help two vehicles involved in the minor crash, when an oncoming 18-wheeler crash into the two vehicles; then a second big rig then collided with the other truck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Officer Segura told reporters during an overnight update on the scene that alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
