(WBAP/KLIF) — Bob Barker has passed away at the age of 99. Barker served as “The Price Is Right” host for 35 years, before stepping aside in 2007.
Barker was awarded 19 Emmy Awards throughout his 50 year television career, 14 of them as host of “The Price Is Right.” Robert Barker was born in Darrington, Washington, on Dec. 12, 1923. He spent most of his childhood on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota and was a citizen of the tribe.
