Crews Working to Fix Massive Water Main Break in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Crews in Fort Worth are working to fix a massive water main break this morning.

The Fort Worth Water Department posted video of the break to social media just before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, showing water flooding the streets along Lancaster avenue.

The situation has Lancaster shut down from Henderson and Ballinger streets just southwest of downtown Fort Worth.

It’s not clear what caused this particular break. However, officials have blamed the extremely hot weather for previous water main breaks across the Metroplex.
