(WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki is crediting the DFW metroplex for his success, as he is inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
“It feels amazing that I’ve been able to be there for my entire career,” Nowitzki told reporters. “I’m very proud to say that I was always happy to represent the Dallas Mavericks.”
The team paid tribute to the big German.
Dirk brought the Mavericks its only NBA championship in 2011. The induction ceremony in Springfield, Massachusetts was slated for Saturday night.
