(WBAP/KLIF) — With inflation woes hitting families across the nation, saving every little bit helps make ends meet. That’s why many will be taking advantage of the state’s tax-free holiday this Friday through Sunday.

The Texas Comptroller’s Office will not charge any sales tax on certain school supplies priced under $100, this weekend only. From midnight Friday through midnight Sunday, families across the metroplex will crowd shopping centers looking to save money.
Texas is one of several states that offer a tax free holiday for back-to-school.
