Veterans Eligible for Max PACT Act Benefits Need to File Before August 9, 2023

The Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act expands healthcare and benefits to veterans exposed to burn pits and other poisonous substances.

Waco Veteran Affairs Executive Director Michael Crouse said although thousands of North Texas veterans have applied, many have not and are eligible.

“We’re highly encouraging them to reapply for benefits because they now be granted presumptive for a condition that was denied in the past,” he said.
