Brutal Heat Returns to North Texas this Week

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Extreme heat is expected to return to North Texas this week.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, widespread triple digit temperatures will return Monday and continue through the rest of the week.

There will also be an elevated threat for wildfires west of I-35, according to NWS. Health experts are asking Texans to make sure they are staying hydrated and cool to avoid heat related illnesses.
