WHITE SETTLEMENT (WBAP/KLIF) – White Settlement police are investigating a man’s death.
First responders were called to the home on Vaquero Street for a fire. After the fire was put out they discovered the body of the victim near honey bee hives.
A witness says the man went to the hive to harvest honey and was using a bee smoker.
It’s not know if the bees attacked the man or if he suffered a medical emergency.
Investigators think the fire started after the victim dropped the smoker into the grass. Some firefighters and officers were also stung by the bees.
