Palo Pinto County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) Mandatory evacuations are underway amid a raging fire in Palo Pinto County, about 70 mile directly west of Fort Worth, the “Storage Fire” has burned around 1,000 acres, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
The fire is about 30% contained. One structure has burned. No one has been hurt. Hundreds of homes are threatened by the fire.
According to WFAA’s Sydney Persing, the fire was reportedly caused by the people. Investigators will determine the exact nature of the incident.
