TERRELL (WBAP/KLIF) – A celebrity from North Texas is donating a gift to his hometown.
Actor Jamie Foxx, who was born and raised in Terrell, is behind a new basketball court at Breezy Hill Park.
The court is red and has “Jamie Foxx” written in its center, and “Foxx Hole: Believe & Achieve” above that. “Terrell Fighting Tigers” is written along the sideline, as well as “Gilbert Willie Charities.” Gilbert Willie was a long time figure in Terrell ISD. He died in 2013 and was one of Foxx’s friends.
