ELLIS COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office arrested the former manager of a medical transport company on a felony charge of tampering with a government record.
Deputies took 47-year-old Randy Lynn Nance of Red Oak into custody on Friday after a nine-month investigation.
According to a press release, investigators discovered discrepancies in compliance reports submitted when he worked as an American Medical Response manager from December 2015 until his resignation in September/October 2022.
Those reports were submitted to Waxahachie, Red Oak, Ennis and Ellis county.
A search warrant allowed detectives to seize Nance’s work computer and they found he allegedly made fake entries and alterations to data on government records.
He was booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie on a $5,000 bond.
