Fort Worth ISD’s Paschal High School Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Fort Worth Fire Department is investigating a bomb threat at R. L. Paschal high school Thursday morning.

Investigators said the threat came in just before 8:45.

Students and staff were briefly evacuated as the department’s bomb squad searched the campus. Fort Worth police also responded to the scene.

Students at nearby Texas Christian University received a text alerting them to the activity and stated that although there was no threat, they should avoid the campus.

So far, there was no word of any bomb found.

Normal school operations at Paschal resumed just after 10:30 a.m.

As of 10:49 a.m., calls to Fort Worth ISD for comment had not been returned.
