Verdict Reached In Crane Collapse Trial

(WBAP/KLIF) Dallas – A jury has returned an $860 Million verdict against Greystar real estate developer in the case of a 2019 crane collapse in East Dallas in 2019 that killed a woman.

The family of Kiersten Smith and the other victims who were injured in the collapse were awarded the amount.

The jury determined that developer Greystar, which was renting the crane at the time of the collapse, was at fault. The jury did not find Bigge crane responsible for the equipment’s collapse.
