Weatherford (WBAP/KLIF) – A Weatherford resident has been sentenced to life in prison for Driving While Intoxicated. 50 year old Christopher Stanford was arrested for DWI in August, 2022. He pleaded guilty, then said he wanted a jury to determine his sentence. The jury sentenced him to Life. Stanford had been arrested, and convicted, of DWI eight times before his latest arrest. Four of those convictions resulted in prison sentences. Despite that, during the sentencing portion of his latest trial Stanford told the jury he doesn’t have a drinking problem, he’s just unlucky.
