(WBAP/KLIF) — A tragic end in the search for a missing Everman boy.
The search for 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez captivated the country for weeks. However, after exhausting all leads and the boy not being seen since November, Everman Police believe the boy is dead. Police Chief Craig Spencer says the investigation uncovered that his mother was abusive, neglectful, and believed that Noel was possessed and a danger to her newborn twins.
The family fleeing to India coupled with family revelations of abuse led investigators to the grim conclusion. Everman police are currently searching for where Noel’s body may be located. A candle light vigil is set for Monday at 8:30pm at the Everman Civic Center.
