Penitas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Three American women, two sisters from Texas and a friend, are missing in Mexico. Maritza Rios and her sister, Marina Rios, crossed the border into Mexico with their friend, Dora Saenz, from the small Texas town of Penitas on Friday February 24. Their plan was to drive to the picturesque town of Montemorelos, about three hours south of the border, and sell clothing at a flea market. They haven’t been seen or heard from since shortly after they crossed into Mexico. Their green 1996 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck has not been found either.
