FWPD Looking for ‘Prank Robbers’ Who Targeted Family Dollar Stores

(Fort Worth Police Department)

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLID) – Fort Worth police are looking for two suspects accused of orchestrating two prank robberies late last month.

According to the department, a man is seen on video entering a Family Dollar store on Hulen Avenue with something that resembled a gun on February 25.

Police say the man pointed the object at the cashier and yelled at everyone to “Get down, this is a stick up.” A second suspect was following close behind recording a video.

The suspects then reportedly left the store in a black Toyota two-door vehicle and pulled a similar prank at another Family Dollar on McCart Avenue.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department Robbery Detective Olsen at 817-392-4377.
