Little Elm, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A big-rig driver based in Dallas has been charged in connection with kidnapping and sexual assault of missing little elm teenager.
Little Elm police announced that they tracked the phone records of a number the 16-year old girl had been in contact witih before she left her home on foot Sunday afternoon.
Little Elm detectives worked with the Dallas Police Department to locate the truck operated by Richard S. Lair of San Antonio. Police say the teen was found inside the truck’s cab on Valentine’s day. She was reunited with her family after a medical exam.
Laird is in the Denton county lockup on a $500,000 dollar bond.
