AAA Texas’ Joshua Zuber says motorists in El Paso are paying the highest price in the state at $3.40 per gallon, while residents in Sherman-Denison are spending the least at $2.93. Dallas sits at $3.00 a gallon for regular unleaded, while Fort Worth comes in at $2.99. Zuber blames volatility in the crude oil market has resulted in price fluctuations around the state with some areas lower than last week. He says volatile crude oil prices could mean a rise at the pump in coming weeks.

Gas prices across the country are fluctuating with California at $4.68 a gallon, while Colorado, Nevada, and Washington are also over four bucks per gallon. meanwhile, residents of Hawaii are paying $4.88 a gallon. The national average is $3.42 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
