Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A plane load of supplies donated by North Texans to earthquake-ravaged Turkey/Syria took off from DFW Airport last night. The Turkish American Association of Northern Texas [TURANT] is accepting donation clothing and other items. See the complete list below.

North Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Turkish American Association of Northern Texas [TURANT] is accepting donations all this week of clothing and other items. Winter clothing for children and adults is especially needed. Check the full list of items below and drop off locations.
The organization plans to make its first shipment is on Thursday, February 9, 2023 PM via Turkish Airlines with more flights to follow.
Items needed:
NEW and UNUSED Winter Clothing for Adults and Children
Winter coats & Raincoats
Winter boots, moon boots
Sweaters, pants
Winter gloves, and glove/hand warmers
Scarfs, beanies, socks, and underwear
Other Supplies
4 person tents & Cots
Winter blankets, Thermal Blankets
Thermos and insulated water bottles
Sleeping bags
Flashlights and appropriate batteries
Food and other Items
Canned vegetables in cases or boxes
