DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) The Dallas Open officially began Saturday in Dallas.
The week-long professional tournament is part of the ATP Tour, and showcases the top men’s singles and doubles talent.
The tournament kicked off with the Women’s Tennis Classic Saturday, featuring U.S. Open finalist Madison Keys and U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens competing head-to-head.
Last year the tournament had an estimated $10 million economic impact on Dallas. Numbers are expected to be higher this year, with an expanded field.
