(WBAP/KLIF) — One of the founders of Dave & Buster’s has died. James “Buster” Corley was one of the co-founders of the successful entertainment company and died at his home near White Rock Lake.
Dallas Police say the 72-year-old apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers found Corley and had him taken to a hospital, where he died. According to Corley’s daughter Kate, her father had a stroke four months ago that caused severe damage to the communication and personality part of his brain.
WFAA says a representative with Dave & Buster’s provided a statement saying that Corley was an “innovative and creative force”.
