Suspects Detained after Threat at Euless Trinity Prompts School to Evacuate

EULESS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Euless Police Department is investigating a threat to Trinity High School.

According to the HEB ISD, the school was evacuated on Thursday while law enforcement continued the investigation, and searched the school.

Students were given the all clear by Police to return to class around 1 p.m. Thursday.

“Suspects connected with the threat remain in police custody, and school staff are continuing to cooperate with law enforcement investigation of the threat. Please be assured that the district takes threats of this nature very seriously and will work with the local police department and any other authorities in all investigations,” the district said in a letter to parents. “

According to Police, no shots were fired, and no one was hurt.

The district said it is preparing to have extra counselors available as needed to speak with students who need support due to Thursday’s events.
